In order to meet the high demands for special labels, the company MMR Industriekennzeichnung GbR from Essen has invested in a high-tech converting unit with many special features from GM Grafisk Maskinfabrik located in Birkerød, Denmark.

MMR Industriekennzeichnung GbR was looking for a long time for a suitable machine that meets their high requirements. It just had to be able to do everything from screen printing to laminating, varnishing and semi-rotary die-cutting and inline finishing - says Herr von Oepen, Production Manager at MMR GbR.

The machine was then equipped with many options such as a screen-printing unit, two flexo printing units, two die-cutting units, a lamination unit and an inkjet option for individual markings and numbering. Therefore, the company MMR GbR can react flexibly and meet the high-quality customer requirements.
GM could construct the machine as we wanted it. The manufacturer engaged in a very constructive dialog where they meet all the needs on our part and have implemented this in the DC330FB - said Gerd von Oepen during an interview.

Since 1st of January 2017, Nilpeter GmbH has been GM partner on the German market. In order to meet the increasing demands, an additional service technician has been hired for the product group.

For the last 43 years, GM has developed and produced a complete line of peripheral machinery and equipment for the paper processing industry. The company has thus gained a well-known name in the label industry and has been an exhibitor on the label Expo Europe for more than 20 years, making it a well-known "face" in the industry.

The requirements for our systems have multiplied. Whereas in the past pure die-cutting and slitting of short runs was required, nowadays not only value-adding processes such as hot foil stamping and screen printing are required, but there is also an increasing demand for automation of production – said Uffe Nielsen, Managing Director and owner of GM.

GM offers advanced solutions for the converting and finishing of products for the label industry. The company builds and develops a variety of machines, such as converting lines, die-cutting machines, slitting and rewinding machines, roller lifters, sheeters, core cutters and machines for special applications.
